Teapot Infuser Glass
I need help finding/choosing a teapot?
I plan on hand painting a teapot as a christmas present for my girlfriend. I would prefer that it be stove-safe and not fragile and easily broken (I have read the stove safe glass ones break easily). An infuser would be useful although not necessary. Can anyone suggest a particular material or even better a website that would have what I am looking for?Thanks!
Typically there is a huge difference between a tea pot, for brewing and serving tea, and a tea kettle for actually heating water to a boil . You seem to be confused as to what you want. You cannot use one for both purposes , not safely . And then you want to paint it, too – which argues against a teakettle. Most teapots are ceramic or glass which wouldn’t take paint well. There are Japanese cast iron pots as well. Special-teas has a good selection.
